2024 STX Am Tour ~ Greater Hill Country Division: PLAYOFFS ~ OFFICIAL RESULTS
Exciting Recap: Greater Hill Country Division Playoffs! 
The second round unfolded under gorgeous early fall conditions, making it a perfect day for golf! 
Steven Evans took home 1st Place in the net category, scoring**3-over par, 75**. Big points at a **3.5x multiplier**—crucial for the final standings!
He shot an **85**, just narrowly beating Jason Barger by a single stroke. Meanwhile, Roland de la Garza dazzled with an **even par 72** on the Net side of the flight, edging out Sam Castilleja by a single stroke!
All five players received gift card payouts for their fantastic performances! See full Final Point Standings below

PLAYOFF EVENT ~ Round #1 - 18 Hole ~ Individual Stroke Play
9/7/2024 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score.
***IMPORTANT UPDATES for 9/7/24
- SAT. SEPT. 7th, 2024
- TPC San Antonio - Canyons Course
- This event is a 12:30pm Progressive Tee Start - Hole #1
- This is the 1st Round of the 36-Holes Greater Hill Country Playoff Event
- ROUND #2 Starting Times will begin @ 11:00am on SUN 9/8.
- These Tee Times will be in reverse PLAYOFF POINT TOTAL order and will be staggered by Flight, with the last two foursomes being the point leaders of each flight
- No hcap adjustments in between rounds
- No re-flighting
- ROUND #2 Starting Times will be emailed to the entire field approx. 1 hr after completion of play on SAT 9/7

- ALL WEATHER RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE ENTIRE FIELD VIA EMAIL. It will also be posted on The Tour’s social media channels.
- Flight Placement Dictates TEE BOX SELECTION!
- ***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN & PLACE in YOUR OWN FAIRWAY. (The definition of "YOUR OWN" = The fairway of the hole that you are currently playing. (Protecting against divots)
***Your responsibility is to be at the Starters Area when your tee time is called. - ***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the starters tent area, located at the 1st tee
- ****Range Balls are included in your tournament entry fee.
- **** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located at The TPC Pavilion. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.
- The FINAL Golf Genius LEADERBOARDS will serve as THE OFFICIAL RESULTS of STX Am Tour ~ GHCD PLAYOFFS
**** STX Am TOUR OPTIONAL SKINS–This week's optional skins game will be offered at The Starters Tent prior to teeing off.
REMINDER - Skins games will change and vary, based on the style of game and tournament format. Inquire at the golfer check-in area, with questions about this event's skins game.

GOLF GENIUS:
GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME.
The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ TPC San Antonio. Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

For the 2024 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
