South Texas Amateur Golf Tour: Alamo City Golf Trail Division ~ Spring Event #3 Recap! 
With 118 golfers swinging for glory across six flights, the recently renovated Cedar Creek Golf Course truly showed off its stunning beauty and challenging layout! 
Let’s dive into the highlights!
Championship Flight Brian Dishman - Snagged the tournament low score of *Even Par 72!* 
That’s right, Brian takes home his first victory cookie of the 2025 season, thanks to our friends at *The Cake Place in More!** 
Cayden Wiley - Celebrated his first victory cookie with an amazing *2 Under 70!** 
First Flight Danny Lee - Took the win in a thrilling scorecard playoff against Jason Sandoval with a score of +5, 77!** 
Kevin Davidson - Claimed victory over Francisco Guerra in a scorecard playoff at *3 Under 69!** 
Second Flight Jay Hein- Secured a fantastic one-shot victory over Jeff Kotlarczyk! Peter Snaddon - Dominated the flight with a stellar *4 Under 68!** 
Third Flight Jeffrey Wurn - Showed his strength with a commanding performance! Keep an eye on this rising star! Art Tiger Mesa - Took the crown with an impressive *7 Under 65!** Another victory cookie for Art! 
Fourth Flight Bill Blake - Finished strong at *10 Over 82!** Dale Beaver - Dominated the flight with a fantastic *7 Under 65!** 
Fifth Flight Greg Richter - Finished at *15 Over 87!** This should be his last appearance in the fifth flight! Emanuel Vazquez - Clinched victory in a scorecard playoff over Julio Maldonado with a score of *2 Under 70!** Special Celebrations!

This event is a STANDARD POINTS EVENT with STANDARD Flight Bonuses (150pts = 1st Place Gross)
Every spot in the point standings reflects onto your starting position in the playoffs and the TOP 3 in The Spring Season earn an automatic spot on The 2025 STMPC Team. EVERY POINT MATTERS!!!
02/08/2025 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score.

Huge shoutout to Andrew Peterson, the President & CEO of the Alamo City Golf Trail, and his amazing team for their world-class job on this stunning renovation! This is the **first event** on Tour following the renovation, and it’s your chance to make history! The gross winners will set the brand-new **STXAMTOUR scoring record** at Cedar Creek!

The 2025 SPRING Season has started with a BANG in January @ MDL and WIllow Springs....... And continues this Saturday @ Cedar Creek with the first individual event of the year! The Points Standings will begin to separate following this event!
This is a STANDARD POINTS EVENT + STANDARD FLIGHT BONUSES. The race for a Tour Championship and a coveted spot on The 2025 South Texas Match Play Team continues this Saturday @ Cedar Creek!!!!

GOLF GENIUS:
GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME.
The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Cedar Creek. Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!
- The paper scorecard and the digital Golf Genius scorecard will act as each others double check. In addition, the paper scorecard must be signed by multiple members of the pairing, and turned into the scoring tent.

For the 2025 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 6-11% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2025 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.
