2024 STX Am Tour ~ ACGT Division, Summer Event #8 ~ The PC Open Championship @ Brackenridge Park GC ~ 36-Holes Stroke Play ~ OFFICIAL RESULTS
**2024 PC Open Championship Recap!** 
The **2024 PC Open Championship** was the ultimate season finale, filled with excitement, drama, and some incredible golf! 
Low Gross Winner: Sean Vidal!** He fired a phenomenal **10 under par** with rounds of **65** and **67**, finishing with a total score of **132**! 
With only two bogeys all weekend and a jaw-dropping **45-foot birdie putt** on the final hole, Sean is now etched in history! 
Low Net Winner: Ray Kang!** He shot a **career best** of **65 net** on Saturday and topped it off with an incredible **62 net** on Sunday for a total of **127** (15 under par)! 
Ray also takes home the **Net Jacket**—what a way to finish the season! 
**Championship Flight Gross:** Brandon Brodowski at **7 under par**!
**Championship Flight Net:** Danny Lee (scorecard playoff) over Alex Zertuche, also at **7 under par**!
**First Flight Gross:** Mark Kuchesky with a score of **148**! **First Flight Net:** Nicholas Garza at **136**, narrowly beating Jeremy Semlinger by just one stroke!
**Second Flight Gross:** David Thomas with a two-round score of **155**! **Second Flight Net:** Tim Blount, missing the tournament low net by just one stroke to Ray Kang! **Third Flight Gross:** Danny Puckett with a score of **164**! **Third Flight Net:** Scott Culp, victorious in a scorecard playoff with a total of **134**! **Congratulations to all our winners and participants! Your hard work and dedication throughout the season have truly paid off!

09/21 & 22/2024 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. This event scoring, is a combined total of Round #1 & Round #2.
FORMAT
- 36 Hole - Individual STROKE PLAY - SATURDAY, SEPT 21st & SUNDAY, SEPT 22nd, 2024 - ROUND #1 - Progressive Tee Time Start, beginning @ 9:00am. Starting on HOLE #1 - Gross and Net
- SAN PEDRO Driving Range will OPEN @ 7:00am These are Normal Operating Hours.
- Optional Skins will be available at Starters Area
- Optional Senior Tee Box Selection will be available at Starters Area
- Senior Tee Box Selection will be represented in BOTH ROUNDS

Continuing to make this TOUR as competitive and enjoyable as possible, while providing a fair and equitable opportunity for players of all skill levels to compete, is the goal. The integrity of our TOUR events is important to us and our participants, and the following requirements have been put in place...A verifiable Tour handicap index will be used. This index is the total average of all individual golfers Tour Scores. This index will take preference over GHIN or any other handicap indexes. If you do not have a Tour handicap index, you are still eligible to compete in the Tour Event. The Tour will put you into a flight based on 80% of your USGA Verified Handicap Index or an Average Score. The Tournament Committee will record all tournament scores into the NEW Tour Handicap Database which is available for public viewing now at Handicap Database. Two Tour Scores are needed to create an Tour Handicap Index.
Handicap Competitions Rule States: The committee may, in an exceptional individual case, modify a player's handicap before or between rounds of a competition.
In the event that a Tour golfer shoots an exceptional tournament score on any event date and requires handicap adjustment for the Next day of, or next Event, the following formula will be used. (More than 5 shots or better below their handicap) In these cases, the amount of shots below your course allowance was divided by two and subtracted from your Handicap. For example, if you shot 6 shots below your handicap, or a NET 65 (Par 71), 3 strokes will be deducted from your previous handicap. That becomes your COURSE HCAP for the next round/event. However........The Tour Handicap & rules committee will track these golfers. If any adjusted golfer shoots above his un-adjusted handicap, HE/SHE WILL RECEIVE the un-adjusted index value. The STX AM Tour will strive to protect the integrity of the handicap process for the rest of the 2024 Tour Season & Playoffs.

The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @Brackenridge Park GC. Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

For the 2024 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2024 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
