FORMAT
- ROUND #1 SAT - 8:30am TEE TIMES START ~ SATURDAY SEPT 13th, 2025
- Event Check-in, Registration, Skins & To Pay List will be available at the starters area, located by the 1st Tee Box @ Willow Springs GC.
- INDIVIDUAL STROKE PLAY ~ 36 Holes
- Host Facility - WILLOW SPRINGS GC
- San Pedro Driving Range will open at 7:00am on Saturday & Sunday.
- Normal Hours of Operation
- Optional Skins will be available at Starters Area
- Optional Senior Tee Box Selection will be available at Starters Area
09/13/2025 & 9/14/2025 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. Round #1 is totaled with Round #2 for a 36 hole Tournament Score.

- ***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN & PLACE in YOUR OWN FAIRWAY
- ALL FRESH LAID SOD IS TO BE PLAYED AS GUR.

- ***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the starters tent area
- **** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located IN THE GRILL @ WILLOW SPRINGS. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.
- ROUND #2 Starting Times will be communicated to the field via email, at approx. 1 hr. following the completion of Round #1.

~ REMINDER - Skins games will change and vary, based on the style of game and tournament format. Inquire at the golfer check-in area, with questions about this event's skins game.

Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.

2025 STX AM TOUR SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
2025 - Handicap Index Guidelines:
Continuing to make THE STX AM TOUR as competitive and enjoyable as possible, while providing a fair and equitable opportunity for players of all skill levels to compete, is the goal. The integrity of our TOUR events is important to us and our participants, and the following requirements have been put in place...A verifiable Tour handicap index will be used. This index will take preference over GHIN or any other handicap indexes. If you do not have a Tour handicap index, you are still eligible to compete in the Tour Event. The Tour will put you into a flight based on 80% of your USGA Verified Handicap Index or an Average Score. The Tournament Committee will record all tournament scores into the NEW Tour Handicap Database which is available for public viewing now at Handicap Database. Two Tour Scores are needed to create an Tour Handicap Index.
In addition to the tighter Tour Index Guidelines above, The following Handicap Adjustments Explanation will also pertain to Multiple Day Tour Events:
Handicap Competitions Rule States: The committee may, in an exceptional individual case, modify a player's handicap before or between rounds of a competition.
In the event that a Tour golfer shoots an exceptional tournament score on any event date and requires handicap adjustment for the Next day of, or next Event, the following formula will be used. (More than 5 shots or better below their handicap) In these cases, the amount of shots below your course allowance was divided by two and subtracted from your Handicap. For example, if you shot 6 shots below your handicap, or a NET 66, 3 strokes will be deducted from your previous handicap. That becomes your COURSE HCAP for the next round/event. However........The Tour Handicap & rules committee will track these golfers. If any adjusted golfer shoots above his un-adjusted handicap, HE/SHE WILL RECEIVE the un-adjusted index value. The STX AM Tour will strive to protect the integrity of the handicap process for the rest of the 2025 Tour Season & Playoffs.

The TOP 50 in FINAL SUMMER POINTS will qualify for THE 2025 STX AM TOUR ~ ACGT DIVISION PLAYOFFS (Joining the TOP 50 from the Spring Season). The TOP 3 in FINAL SUMMER POINTS will qualify for The 2025 South Texas Match Play Challenge Team!
This is a Custom DOUBLE POINTS EVENT + Jacket Bonuses! The race for a Tour Championship and a coveted spot on The 2025 South Texas Match Play Team concludes this weekend!

*STX AM TOUR - 2025 SENIOR AGE :
For the 2025 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2025 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE or GOLD Tees.
