~ 18 Hole 2-Person Team Best Ball (Fourball), Gross & Net ~ Double Points
09/02/23 ~ 2-person Team BestBall (Four-Ball) is a form of play (stroke play) involving partners where: Two partners compete together as a side (team), with each player playing their own ball, and, A side's score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole.

**** Please double check your flights & starting HOLE LOCATIONS. 8:05 am SHOTGUN START.
***ALL GOLFERS MUST CHECK IN AT REGISTRATION AREA LOCATED IN THE Mission del Lago CLUBHOUSE. Registration opens @ 6:30am. Golfer Check-in, Skins, TO-PAY LIST Golfers & Senior Tee Box Assignments will all be handled at the registration area.
***MANY PAIRINGS HAVE CHANGED*** Flight Placement Dictates TEE BOX SELECTION!
***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN & PLACE in ALL GENERAL AREAS.
***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN, RAKE & PLACE in ALL BUNKERS.
***Your responsibility is to be at the cart staging area, when opening announcements are called. "A" starting groups are responsible for teeing off 1st, upon arrival to starting hole, when your tee time is called.
***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the registration area.
**** Mission del Lago Driving Range will open at 6:30am on Saturday for all of your warm-up needs
**** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located at The Clubhouse @ Mission del Lago. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.
**** STX Am TOUR OPTIONAL SKINS - This week's optional skins game will be offered at The Registration area prior to teeing off.
~ REMINDER - Skins games will change and vary, based on the style of game and tournament format. Inquire at the golfer check-in area, with questions about this event's skins game.
~$40/team **OPTIONAL PARTICIPATION WITHIN YOUR OWN FLIGHT! ~Gross Skins in ALL FLIGHTS

Every spot in the point standings reflects onto your starting position in the playoffs and the TOP 3 in The Summer Season earn an automatic spot on The 2023 STMPC Team.

GOLF GENIUS:
GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME
The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Mission del Lago this weekend.
Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour.
Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius.
Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone.
Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome. This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

For the 2023 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2023 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.
