FORMAT
- 8:00am SHOTGUN START ~ SUNDAY JAN 7th, 2024
- Event Check-in, Registration, Skins & To Pay List Opens @ 6:45am in The Grill @ MDL
- 18-Hole ~ 2-Person Scramble Stroke Play ~ Gross & 25% Net
- Mission del Lago Golf Course
- Crazy Hard and Silly Hole Locations with a ton of yardage.
The course will play as long and hard as THE MONSTER can!!!!
This event is a DOUBLE POINTS EVENT with Additional Bonuses
Every spot in the point standings reflects onto your starting position in the playoffs and the TOP 3 in The Spring Season earn an automatic spot on The 2024 STMPC Team. EVERY POINT MATTERS!!!
01/7/24 ~ Stroke play scoring, is a type of scoring where a player/team competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular stroke play, you or your team, need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. In this SCRAMBLE FORMAT, Both Players tee off on each hole. Select the shot the team wishes to play, and both players hit from that location. Repeating that process until ball is holed. Recording one score for the team per hole.

- ***Your responsibility is to be at the CART STAGING AREA @ 7:50am.
- ***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the registration tent area, located inside the MDL Clubhouse.
- ****Mission del Lago Driving Range will open at 7:00am on Sunday for all of your warm-up needs
- **** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located at The Clubhouse Area @ Mission del Lago. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.
**** STX Am TOUR OPTIONAL SKINS - This week's optional skins game will be offered at The Registration Tent prior to teeing off.
~ REMINDER - Skins games will change and vary, based on the style of game and tournament format. Inquire at the golfer check-in area, with questions about this event's skins game.

Get ready to kick off the 2024 South Texas Amateur Golf Tour with a bang at the 12th annual Monster Day at Mission, taking place on January 7 at Mission Del Lago Golf Course.
This unique two-person team scramble is a thrilling event like no other, featuring extreme distances and crazy hard hole locations that will put your skills to the ultimate test. Known for its monstrous challenges and equally rewarding moments, Monster Day promises a day filled with excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories on the course.

GOLF GENIUS:
GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME.
The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Mission. Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

- 2nd Place - 90pts (85pts Net)

For the 2024 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2024 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.

Effective April 11th 2023, Due to the credit card processor no longer refunding credit card fees for processing refunds, we unfortunately will need to assess a 5% restocking fee on ALL refunds issued. You may always opt for STX Am Tour credit to save on the 5% restocking fee.
