7/20/24 ~ 2-person Team Best Ball (Four-Ball) is a form of play (stroke play) involving partners where: Two partners compete together as a side (team), with each player playing their own ball, and, A side's score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole. **** Both players do not need to finish every hole.

• The 2024 STX Am Tour ~ ACGT Division ~ Summer Season continues this Saturday… Olmos Basin is set to produce an action-packed event!!!
• Double Points on 7/20/24 @ OB, is the next chance to climb The 2024 STX Am Tour ~ ACGT Division Point Standings!
• This is a DOUBLE POINTS EVENT + Double BONUSES. The race for a Tour Championship and a coveted spot on The 2024 South Texas Match Play Team continues this Saturday!
• SAN PEDRO Driving Range will OPEN @ 6:30am on SATURDAY, JULY 20th, exclusively for STX AM TOUR Golfers!

• 120 Golfers in 4 Flights

Registration opens @ 6:30am, located in Olmos Basin upper clubhouse. All Teams please check In @ Registration/Starters Tent prior to opening announcements. Opening Announcement @ Cart Staging Area @ 7:50am.

GOLF GENIUS:

GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME.

The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Olmos Basin GC.  Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.

The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.

• The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODEfor EACH FOURSOME.
• One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
• This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!
• Please take the time to review and sign the scorecard with your group following play.

For the 2024 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)

*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :

The 2024 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.

• *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
• *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
• *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
• *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.
