2024 STX AM tour – ACGT Division ~ Summer Event #2 ~ Individual Stroke Play @ Mission del Lago GC
06/23/2024 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score.
FORMAT
- 8:00AM PROGRESSIVE TEE TIME START ~ SUNDAY June, 23rd, 2024
- Event Check-in, Registration, Skins & To Pay List will be available at the CHECK-IN area, located at the 1st Tee Box @ Mission del Lago
- Individual Stroke Play
- Mission del Lago Golf Course
- MDL Driving Range will open at 7:00am on Sunday.
- Small range buckets only.
- Optional Skins will be available at Starters Area
- Optional Senior Tee Box Selection will be available at Starters Area

- ALL WEATHER RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE ENTIRE FIELD VIA EMAIL. It will also be posted on The Tour’s social media channels.
- ***MANY PAIRINGS HAVE CHANGED*** Flight Placement Dictates TEE BOX SELECTION!
- ***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN & PLACE in YOUR OWN FAIRWAY.
- ***This event will be played with LIFT, CLEAN, RAKE & PLACE in ALL BUNKERS.
- ***Your responsibility is to be at the STARTERS AREA WHEN YOUR TEE TIME IS CALLED
- ***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the STARTERS Area
- **** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located at The Clubhouse/Rockin' G Grill Area @ Mission del Lago. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.
**** STX Am TOUR OPTIONAL SKINS - This week's optional skins game will be offered at The Registration Tent prior to teeing off.
~ REMINDER - Skins games will change and vary, based on the style of game and tournament format. Inquire at the golfer check-in area, with questions about this event's skins game.

The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Mission del Lago.
Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

STX AM TOUR - 2024 SENIOR AGE :
For the 2024 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2024 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
*The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.
