2025 STX Am Tour ~ ACGT Division ~ Spring #9 ~ The 14th Players Club MASTERS - OFFICIAL RESULTS
Spring Season Finale: The 14th Alamo City Golf Trail Players Club Masters! 
Held at the historic Brackenridge Park Golf Course 
on Saturday, May 17th, and Sunday, May 18th, this 36-hole individual stroke-play showdown brought out the best in over 90 talented golfers vying for the coveted jackets — the trophies that truly mean “Name on the Jacket” 
.
After an exciting finish, Jeffrey shot 61 net in Round 2 and 69 net in Round 1 for a total score of 130, 12 under par net — edging out the competition by 1 stroke on the final putt of his tournament! The fight for the Net Jacket came down to the wire: Darren Cormier* from the 3rd flight was in the clubhouse at *11 under par**. 
Jason Bird* from 1st flight also shot *11 under**, setting the stage for a possible Jacket playoff! 
sealing his victory and earning his *“Name on the Jacket”**! with rounds of *66 and 66* for a *total score of 132, 10 under par**. 
and solidify his spot as one of the tour’s top champions!

- ROUND #1 SAT - 2pm SHOTGUN START ~ SATURDAY MAY 17th, 2025
- Event Check-in, Registration, Skins & To Pay List will be available at the starters area, located on the putting green @ Brackenridge Park GC.
- INDIVIDUAL STROKE PLAY ~ 36 Holes
- Host Facility - BRACKENRIDGE PARK GC
- San Pedro Driving Range will open at 7:00am on Saturday & Sunday.
- Normal Hours of Operation

05/17/2024 & 5/18/2024 ~ Individual Stroke Play - Stroke play is a format of play where a player competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular, individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. Round #1 is totaled with Round #2 for a 36 hole Tournament Score.

The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ The PC Masters.
Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

2025 - Handicap Index Guidelines:
Continuing to make this TOUR as competitive and enjoyable as possible, while providing a fair and equitable opportunity for players of all skill levels to compete, is the goal. The integrity of our TOUR events is important to us and our participants, and the following requirements have been put in place...A verifiable Tour handicap index will be used. This index is the total average of all individual golfers Tour Scores. This index will take preference over GHIN or any other handicap indexes. If you do not have a Tour handicap index, you are still eligible to compete in the Tour Event. The Tour will put you into a flight based on 80% of your USGA Verified Handicap Index or an Average Score. The Tournament Committee will record all tournament scores into the NEW Tour Handicap Database which is available for public viewing now at Handicap Database. Two Tour Scores are needed to create an Tour Handicap Index.
In addition to the tighter Tour Index Guidelines above, The following Handicap Adjustments Explanation will also pertain to Multiple Day Tour Events:
Handicap Competitions Rule States: The committee may, in an exceptional individual case, modify a player's handicap before or between rounds of a competition.
In the event that a Tour golfer shoots an exceptional tournament score on any event date and requires handicap adjustment for the Next day of, or next Event, the following formula will be used. (More than 5 shots or better below their handicap) In these cases, the amount of shots below your course allowance was divided by two and subtracted from your Handicap. For example, if you shot 6 shots below your handicap, or a NET 66, 3 strokes will be deducted from your previous handicap. That becomes your COURSE HCAP for the next round/event. However........The Tour Handicap & rules committee will track these golfers. If any adjusted golfer shoots above his un-adjusted handicap, HE/SHE WILL RECEIVE the un-adjusted index value. The STX AM Tour will strive to protect the integrity of the handicap process for the rest of the 2025 Tour Season & Playoffs.

For the 2025 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2025 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division will utilize (up to) 4 sets of TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.

*** REFUND POLICY UPDATE ***
Effective April 11th 2023, Due to the credit card processor no longer refunding credit card fees for processing refunds, we unfortunately will need to assess a 5% restocking fee on ALL refunds issued. You may always opt for STX Am Tour credit to save on the 5% restocking fee.
