FORMAT
- 8:00am SHOTGUN START ~ SUNDAY JAN 4th, 2026
- Event Check-in, Registration, Skins & To Pay List Opens @ 6:45am in The Grill @ MDL
- 18-Hole ~ 2-Person Scramble Stroke Play ~ Gross & 25% Net
- Mission del Lago Golf Course
- Crazy Hard and Silly Hole Locations with a ton of yardage.
The course will play as long and hard as THE MONSTER can!!!!
This event is a DOUBLE POINTS EVENT with Additional Bonuses
Every spot in the point standings reflects onto your starting position in the playoffs and the TOP 3 in The Spring Season earn an automatic spot on The 2026 STMPC Team. EVERY POINT MATTERS!!!
01/4/26 ~ Stroke play scoring, is a type of scoring where a player/team competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular stroke play, you or your team, need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. In this SCRAMBLE FORMAT, Both Players tee off on each hole. Select the shot the team wishes to play, and both players hit from that location. Repeating that process until ball is holed. Recording one score for the team per hole.

- ***Your responsibility is to be at the CART STAGING AREA @ 7:50am, for opening announcement & 2025 Awards Recongnitions.
- ***The "NEEDS TO PAY" List, will be located at the registration tent area, located inside the MDL Clubhouse.
- ****Mission del Lago Driving Range will open at 7:00am on Sunday for all of your warm-up needs
- **** The OFFICIAL SCORING AREA will be located at The Clubhouse Area @ Mission del Lago. All golfers, please promptly turn in your SIGNED OFFICIAL SCORECARD immediately following completion of play.

Get ready to kick off the 2026 South Texas Amateur Golf Tour with a bang at the 14th annual Monster Day at Mission, taking place on January 4th at Mission Del Lago Golf Course.
This unique two-person team scramble is a thrilling event like no other, featuring extreme distances and crazy hard hole locations that will put your skills to the ultimate test. Known for its monstrous challenges and equally rewarding moments, Monster Day 26' promises to be a day filled with excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories to launch the 2026 Tour Season!

GOLF GENIUS:
GOLF GENIUS EMAIL TO BE SENT at a LATER TIME.
The STX Am Tour is happy to have GOLF GENIUS LIVE MOBILE SCORING @ Mission. Golf Genius is a real time scoring app to enhance the tournament atmosphere of The STX Am Tour. Each Golfer will receive a separate email with specific directions for Golf Genius. Please take the time, in advance of your tee time, to download the GOLF GENIUS APP from the app store on your smartphone. Each foursome will get a tutorial on how to use golf genius prior to your tee time.
The STX Am Tour will continue to use paper scorecards as THE OFFICIAL SCORECARD.
- The Golf Genius email will contain a GGID CODE for EACH FOURSOME.
- One player in the group will enter the scores for the foursome.
- This will populate REAL TIME LEADERBOARD and REAL TIME SKINS!

For the 2026 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with PAST STX AM TOUR GUIDELINES. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees, within their respective flight. (Approx. 8-12% reduction)
*STX AM TOUR Tee Markers :
The 2026 STX AM Tour ~ Alamo City Golf Trail Division, will utilize (up to) 4 sets of STX AM TOUR TEE MARKERS at each event. BLACK, BLUE, GREEN & WHITE.
- *The BLACK TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course BLUE Tees.
- *The BLUE TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% less than the course BLUE rating.
- *The GREEN TOUR TEES will use a proprietary rating of 33% more than the course WHITE rating.
- *The WHITE TOUR TEES will use the course rating of the Trail course WHITE Tees.

Monster Day is a one-of-a-kind 2-person team event. It is a straight scramble with extreme distances and crazy hard hole locations. Mission as monster-ific as it gets! It is the only straight scramble on The STX Am Tour Schedule! It is always tons of fun...…and equally as frustrating!
