Dear STX Am Tour Competitors,
Update regarding STX Am Tour ~ Spring Event #5 .
To prioritize safety and deliver the elite amateur tournament atmosphere we strive for, we are postponing this event, due to this weekends threating & inclement weather forecast for San Antonio and the surrounding area.
Original event date:  March 8, 2026
Original venue: Olmos Basin Golf Course
New date: Sunday, April 19, 2026
New venue: Willow Springs Golf Course
Format: Stroke Play - Unchanged
Points distribution: Unchanged
Status: Sold out Full Field - email info@stxamtour.golf to be added to the waitlist for this event
Important notes:
All golfers currently registered for Spring Event #5 will automatically be entered into the field for the rescheduled date of Sunday, April 19 at Willow Springs GC.
As the new date approaches, all registered golfers will receive a new 1st Notice to Players, with updated starting times, flight assignments, and pairings.
This reschedule, in conjunction with our partners at the Alamo City Golf Trail, is designed to ensure the absolute most elite tournament atmosphere while safeguarding participant safety. The greater San Antonio forecast calls for heavy rains and thunderstorms, and Olmos Basin’s known history of rapid flooding makes this adjustment essential.
What you need to know now:
No action needed, you’re already registered; you’re in for April 19th.

03/8/26 ~ Stroke play scoring, is a type of scoring where a player/team competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular stroke play, you or your team, need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score.
