2026 STX Am Tour ~ Summer Event #6 - Team 27 Hole Scramble @ Riverside + Teddy Bear ~ OFFICIAL RESULTS!

DELIVER A 27-HOLE SHOWCASE
If you want to see what South Texas golf can look like when a golf course is bringing its absolute best, Riverside was the receipt on Sunday. Fifty-four teams played the Championship Course tee to green in about as good a condition as this Tour has seen all year, and the Riverside staff matched it stride for stride — the SAN PEDRO DRIVING RANGE opened early just for STX Am Tour golfers, and attentive service everywhere on property, all day. Genuinely one of the best combinations of golf course and hospitality this Tour has had the pleasure of playing.
Then it was on to Teddy Bear for nine more. The par-3 course's greens ran just a touch slower than the Championship Course's — the kind of adjustment that comes with playing a full third of your day's scoring on a different putting surface — and the best teams in the field made that adjustment look easy.
Every flight plays for the same points and the same prizes on Tour, and Sunday's 27 holes proved why that matters — there was drama, low numbers, and a scorecard playoff up and down all four flights, not just at the top.
CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT
This was the best round this Tour has seen in a long time. Jeremy Jaramillo and Steven Evans played all 27 holes without a single mistake on the card — not one bogey, on either course — and buried the field under a 19-under 80 to run away with the Championship Flight gross title. Birdies were everywhere: five different holes circled on the Teddy Bear nine, eight more circled across Riverside's eighteen, including 4 eagles. It's the kind of scorecard you photograph and keep.
Right behind them, matching that same score of 80 (NET) and that same 19-under, Alex Bissaro and Andre Ramirez put together an equally spotless day of their own — plenty good enough to top the Net standings outright in a flight this strong.
FIRST FLIGHT
The First Flight needed extra holes to settle it. Casey Graham and Kevin Keaney and Caden Wylie and Freddy Zapata both turned in matching 10-under 89s, and with STX Am Tour never settling a regular-season flight on a tie, it came down to a scorecard playoff — Graham and Keaney came out on top to take home the gross cookie.
On the net side, David Thomas and Willie Nichols posted the flight's best number of the day at 13-under 86, good enough to hold off two more teams that finished at that exact same score.
SECOND FLIGHT
Second Flight belonged to Luis Dena and Trey Salinas on the gross side, and it wasn't close — a 9-under 90 that won by four strokes.
On the net side, Bernardo Pegas and Danny Puckett were the class of the field, going 13-under 86 to win by two clean strokes over both Michael DerManuelian & Willie Nelson and Cory Frazier & Greg Richter, who tied for second.
THIRD FLIGHT
Alexander Linares and Parker Rickert put together the round of the Third Flight, a 7-under 92 for the gross win — five strokes clear of the field.
On the net side, Andrew Huddleston and Jonathan Yarbrough were the class of the field at 14-under 85 — and for Yarbrough, that's three cookies in a row. Whatever he's doing right now, he should keep doing it.

FORMAT
08/30/26 ~ *TEAM SCRAMBLE - Stroke play scoring, is a type of scoring where a player/team competes against all others in their respective flights, by comparing a total score for one or more rounds. In regular stroke play, you or your team, need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. In this SCRAMBLE FORMAT, Both TEAM MEMBERS tee off on each hole. Select the shot the team wishes to play, and both players hit from that location. Repeating that process until ball is holed. Recording one score for the team per hole.
This format will include ALL 18 Holes of The RIVERSIDE Championship Course + ALL 9 of The Teddy Bear Par 3 Course Holes. ***25% of Team Hcap will be used for Net Scores.

For the 2026 Tour Seasons, the Senior Golfer category will be eligible at 50 years of age. This aligns with the USGA Senior golfer age. All golfers that meet the age requirement, will have the opportunity to play from a reduced yardage set of tees. (Approx. 6-11% reduction)

Registration for Summer Event #6 is officially closed, and what a field it is!
Sunday's 2-person team scramble at Riverside and Teddy Bear will be the Tour's first-ever competitive round on the Teddy Bear Par 3 Course, and every registered team should be fired up. All 27 holes, one great day of golf!
Here's what to watch for next: your 1st Notice to Players goes out Thursday, August 27th, with full pairings and flight assignments, so keep an eye on your inbox. Shotgun start is 8:00 AM Sunday across both courses, so plan to arrive with plenty of time to get loose & settled in. Registration Table opens @ 7am!
Speaking of getting loose, San Pedro is opening its driving range early, at 6:30 AM Sunday, exclusively for STX Am Tour golfers ahead of the round. Big thanks to San Pedro General Manager Javi Garcia for making that happen. Get there early, hit a bucket, and dial it in before the event.
