The Points Race Just Got Ruthless

Updated Following Summer Event #4 • Stroke Play @ Mission del Lago GC • August 2nd, 2026

Four playoffs and a 1.5X multiplier at Mission del Lago didn't just decide flight winners — they rewired the entire Summer standings. There's a new leader, a three-way logjam at the top, and a rookie who crashed the Top 10 in his very first start of the season.

Dennis Denoski takes over the #1 seed at 510 points, climbing six spots after a runner-up finish in the First Flight. Right behind him, Sean Vidal and Jim Eckman are now dead-locked at 505 — Vidal slipping out of the top spot for the first time all summer, and Eckman quietly grinding his way into a share of 2nd. Nothing separates the top three except a single stroke's worth of points.

2026 Summer Points Standings - Top 10
Micah Carroll ▲ 9
A blistering -10 62 net win at Mission del Lago rockets him to 6th at 482.5.
Kendall Murray ▲ 10
Matched Carroll stroke for stroke with his own -10 net win — now 7th at 477.5.
DJ Burke ▲ 14
The Second Flight Gross win was worth a full 200 points — biggest single-week jump in the Top 10, now 8th at 475.
Brad Hadden ▲ 16
Third Flight Gross champion crashes the Top 10 at #10 with 451.25 — the single biggest climb on the board.

Not everyone had it their way. Dustin Weldon drops seven spots to 9th after a quiet week at Mission del Lago, and defending points machine Seth Henry slides two spots to 4th despite still sitting inside 20 points of the lead.

Four names who spent time in the Top 10 this summer are now on the outside looking in: Danny Puckett (12th, 423.75, down 2), Willie Nelson (13th, 417.5, down 7), Martin Bonugli (14th, 411.25, down 5), and Erik Cortina — the week's biggest faller, cratering 13 spots to 18th at 385.1 after missing the scoring at Mission del Lago entirely.

ACGT Division  ·  10 Events  ·  Spring Season Complete

The 2026 STX Am Tour ACGT Division Spring Season is officially in the books. Ten events. Every Alamo City Golf Trail course — from Cedar Creek to Brackenridge Park and everywhere in between. Every point mattered, and as always, every place in the final standings carries real consequences heading into the fall.

The stakes of the regular season cannot be overstated. Your finishing spot in the spring standings determines your starting playoff position. The Top 50 in spring points are invited to the fall playoffs in October, where they'll be joined by the Top 50 from the summer season. And the Top 3 in each regular season earn an automatic spot on the 2026 South Texas Match Play Challenge Team — the pinnacle event, and the reason most people lace up their spikes and play on The Tour. Every road leads to the STMPC.
