What an incredible finish to the **2024 Alamo City Golf Trail Division Summer Season**!

This past weekend at **Brackenridge Park**, we witnessed nail-biting drama and excitement that kept everyone on the edge of their seats!

The standings were closer than ever, leading to an unforgettable tournament and some amazing news for our South Texas Matchplay Challenge (STXAMTOUR) team!

- **Steven Evans** wins the summer season!

- **Sean Vidal** finishes the season strong in second place, bolstered by his impressive victory at the PC Open!

- And in a twist of fate, we had a TIE for third place in final ACGT Division Summer Point Standings! **Bradley Gilbert** and **Jonathan Harter** both qualified for the team!

This rare occurrence means we’re adding **four new members** to The STX Am Tour South Texas Match Play Challenge team.

This has only happened once in the last decade, making it a historic moment for The Tour!

This brings The STX Am Tour Team to 11 Qualifiers with 9 spots remaining to be filled!

However, with the tie for third, we had to make a tough decision: to accommodate this exciting development, the Wildcard Selection (Most Points Earned) from the playoffs has been removed.

But don’t worry—there are still **nine spots** left to fill! Here’s how it breaks down:

- **7 spots** will be determined from the upcoming Alamo City Golf Trail Playoffs.

- **1 spot** will be awarded to the winner of the always-dramatic Horse Race.

- **1 spot** will be a captain's pick!

The stage is set for an exhilarating lead-up to the **South Texas Matchplay Challenge** on **November 9 and 10** at the recently renovated Riverside Golf Course!
