Point Standings Update: The Race is On!

~Here are the updated point standings for the 2025 Spring Season of the South Texas Amateur Golf Tour—Alamo City Golf Trail Division!

~With six events officially in the books, the excitement is heating up as we head into the final stretch of the season!

Only three events remain this spring! And remember, the top three players in the end-of-season point standings will automatically qualify for the prestigious 2025 South Texas Match Play Challenge Team! This is the ultimate goal—a marquee showdown against the Houston Amateur Golf Association!

Top 10 Point Standings

Tye Arnett – Still reigning supreme in first place since his match play victory at San Pedro! Can he hold on to his lead?
Kevin Davidson – Strong performances keep him in second, especially after his solid second-place finish at OLMOS!
Tim Blount – Holding steady in third after another strong finish at OLMOS!
Charles Romero – The big mover of the week! A gross flight win at OLMOS catapulted him up six spots to fourth!
Fernando Palos – Staying competitive, he’s holding on in fifth place!
Dale Beavers – Keeping his spot in the top 10 at sixth!
Jeremy Jaramillo – Right behind in seventh, maintaining a strong presence!
Jeffrey Wurn – Climbing the ranks with a solid second-place finish at OLMOS!
Darren Cormier – Sliding down just one spot, but still in the mix!
Rick Hohensee – A tough week, sliding three spots to round out the top 10!

The Point Race is Tight!

It’s worth noting how close the competition is! From 3rd to 24th place, the players are separated by just 150 points! With three events left, will someone from outside the top 10 make a surprise qualification? Can Tye hold on to his lead? The suspense is palpable!
